Officially addicted! My banana milkshake was amazing. I'm surprised more people haven't gotten into boozy milkshakes. Cant wait to come back for more. It's a NOLA ambiance inside too lots of fun.

Unexpected treat!! We were at westbury gardens with our kids and it was so hot that it called for icecream. We searched nearby and found this shop pop up. I called and they said they could seat the 7 of us no problem. When we got there we loved the ambiance and the fun icecream choices and toppings! Thank you!

The interior was very spacious and modern. The staff was nice. I ordered a matcha frappe with matcha ice cream and mochi. I enjoyed it and will definitely go back to try the other menu items!

This spot is truly a hidden gem in the Westbury area. The essence of Nana's is that of an ice cream parlor and coffee shop with baked goods. However they also serve beer and cocktails alongside some quick eats such as burgers, and special menu items such as gumbo or shrimp & grits. On Wednesday evenings they have a fun Trivia Night which is free to join. Nana's is a slice of New Orleans hospitality in the middle of Nassau County.

I visited this small restaurant early evening yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Despite the wait due to the single staff member handling orders, drinks, and food, the quality of the dishes made it worth it. I tried both the churro waffle and the Oreo cookie waffle, both of which were generously sized and served with a scoop of ice cream. The flavors were delightful. The highlight of the meal was the salmon burger. It was incredibly tasty and well-seasoned, with a nice touch of avocado that elevated the flavors. I wished my waffle fries were not overcooked, making them a bit difficult to chew. However, the seasoning was spot-on, and I could see the potential if they weren't recooked. The surprise addition of alcoholic drinks, like the "Hurricane" with rum, was a nice touch and added to the overall experience. I also tried the hot chocolate with toasted marshmallows and white cream, which had a lovely flavor, although it wasn't served piping hot. They were actually just room temperature. The limited seating inside was cozy but might be a challenge during busy times. Despite this, I'll definitely be back to try more of their creative dishes. Overall, a pleasant dining experience with a few minor hiccups that didn't overshadow the delicious food and friendly service.

My fiance & I were rushing to make it to Nana's before they closed for the ube waffle. We were told upon entry that they only had ice cream & boba left, but then allowed us to order the ube waffle. Seriously - 5 stars alone for that service! The ube waffle itself was quite delicious; the waffle was fluffy, ube filling wasn't too sweet but definitely noticeable, and you can't go wrong with their ice cream. Portions are definitely generous - this was enough for us to share (and we still couldn't finish). Even though we ate a little past closing time, we never felt rushed.

I don't know how I managed to miss this gem all these years, but it's a must try for dessert! I'm in love with their double fudge brownie and affogato sundae. Very fudgy gooey brownie without being actual fudge. Sundae was a tad sweet but had great flavor and love the little jello pieces on top. Opt for the 2 scoop as 3 scoops might be too sweet. We also had a bubble tea. The bubbles were nice and chewy, just slightly on the smaller side. Entire store was super cute and with eccentric (in a good way) decor. Staff was very friendly. Loved the whole place. My ratings legend: My star rating legend: 5: A+ Worth a special journey (ie. I would go out of my way, maybe even take a flight somewhere just for this; exceptionally amazing) 4: A excellent, a must try, solid place 3: B good; nothing extraordinary, but would definitely go again 2: C personally would never go again (unless invited by someone and I didn't get to pick the place), but I can see how others might find something appealing 1: Fail. I would never return and recommend no on else goes either.

Went here for some ice cream on a hot summer day and was expecting a basic standard ice cream shop. That was definitely not the case. They emulate a Louisiana type of ice cream, parlor, diner, barish vibe and I was here for it. My daughter got some kind of Cotten candy ice cream that she loved and I regretfully split the Ferrero rocher Sunday , I say regret only because I split it, I should've gotten one just for myself as my wife and I were banging spoons trying to get more. Typically I'm not an ice cream fan but I was definitely blown away with how good this was. We will definitely be back probably for dinner and then ice cream for dessert.
